新华社客户端海口6月22日电（周慧敏、皮进宇）6月22日，由海口市外国专家局、海口市龙华区委人才发展局指导，海垦街道办事处、海口龙华人才之家（海口国际人才之家）共同举办的“闪耀之星”英语公益活动落幕。该活动历经一个多月时间，共举办5场，旨在通过一系列丰富多彩的英语互动游戏，激发儿童对英语的学习兴趣，培养良好的英语学习习惯，深受社区居民和孩子们的喜爱。

Organized under the guidance of the Haikou Municipal Bureau of Foreign Experts and the Haikou Longhua District Committee Talent Development Bureau, and jointly hosted by the Haiken Sub-district Office and the Haikou Longhua Talent Home (Haikou International Talent Home), the initiative spanned over a month with five sessions in total. Through a series of engaging English interactive games, it aimed to spark children's interest in learning English and foster good study habits, earning widespread acclaim from both community residents and children.

活动伊始，现场播放了精心准备的一段暖心视频，回顾了孩子们在英语公益行活动开展以来的点点滴滴。之后，孩子们结合学习内容展示英文歌曲、英文朗读等才艺，赢得了在场人员的阵阵掌声。最后，外籍人才与孩子们一起合唱了几首脍炙人口的英文歌曲。新加坡籍人才Mona说：“通过活动，我看到了孩子们对英语学习的热情和渴望，每一次都有不同的变化，他们的进步和成长是我最大的满足。希望此次活动能够激发孩子们深入探索英语和世界的兴趣。”

At the beginning of the event, a carefully prepared heartwarming video was screened, reviewing the children's journey since the launch of the English Public Welfare Initiative. Subsequently, the children showcased their talents—including performing English songs and reading aloud—in line with their learning content, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience. Finally, foreign professionals sang several popular English songs together with the children. Singaporean participant Mona remarked, "Through this event, I witnessed the children's passion and eagerness for learning English; each session brought new progress, and their growth is my greatest satisfaction. I hope this activity will inspire the children to delve deeper into exploring English and the world."

海口龙华区委人才发展局负责人表示，“闪耀之星”英语公益行活动不仅让孩子们在轻松愉快的氛围中了解简单的英语知识，也培养了孩子们对英语的兴趣。下一步，将持续用活用好人才资源，为龙华区建设自贸港高质量发展示范区提供人才支撑和智力支持。

The head of the Talent Development Bureau of the Longhua District Committee in Haikou stated that the "Shining Star" English Public Welfare Initiative not only enables children to acquire basic English knowledge in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere but also fosters their interest in the language.
