8月12日上午，国际人才“服务为民”走进国贸大院暑期英语公益课堂迎来了第三次课程。经过前两次课堂的学习，孩子们已经慢慢熟悉了英语课堂的学习方式，也更加愿意主动开口说英语。当天早上，孩子们带着开心的笑容来到教室，大家很快就进入了轻松、活跃的学习状态。
On the morning of Wednesday, August 12, 2026, the third session of the International Talents “Serving the People” Summer English Charity Class at the Guomao Community began with a warm and happy atmosphere. The children arrived with bright smiles and were ready to learn English together. This class was not only about learning new English words, but also about helping the children remember what they had learned before through games, songs, questions, and simple activities. From the beginning of the class, the children were active and excited to take part in every activity.
第一节课开始后，志愿教师Jennifer首先带着孩子们复习上周学过的内容。为了让孩子们能够记得更加牢固，老师没有只是让大家坐在座位上重复单词，而是一个一个地提问，让孩子们通过简单的动作来表达自己记住的内容。孩子们认真听老师的问题，然后积极地做出动作、回答问题。有的孩子回答得很快，有的孩子想了一会儿再回答，但是大家都愿意参与进来，教室里也慢慢有了更多的笑声。
At the beginning of the first class, volunteer teacher ，Jennifer started with a short review of the lessons from the previous week. Instead of simply asking the children to repeat the words, Jennifer made the review more interesting by asking them to show the meanings through simple actions. She asked the children questions one by one and encouraged each child to remember what they had learned. The children listened carefully and tried their best to answer. Some of them answered very quickly, while others took a little time to remember, but everyone was willing to try. The classroom soon became full of laughter and cheerful voices.
复习结束以后，Jennifer老师开始了今天的新课，主题是“Fun English Class”。老师先用英语和孩子们互相问好，让孩子们在轻松的交流中进入英语学习。接着，老师教大家认识一些常见的水果单词，比如“banana”（香蕉），“durian”（榴莲）和“grapes”（葡萄）。老师一个一个地教，孩子们也跟着老师一起读。为了让每个孩子都有开口说英语的机会，老师还让孩子们一个一个地练习。虽然只是几个简单的单词，但是孩子们都非常认真。
After the review, Jennifer started the new lesson with the topic “Fun English Class.” She first greeted the children in English and encouraged them to greet her back. This simple activity helped the children feel more comfortable speaking English. Then, she introduced some common fruit words, such as “banana,” “durian,” and “grapes.” She showed the children the words and repeated them clearly several times. The children listened carefully and practiced saying each word together. Jennifer also asked them to say the words one by one, so that every child had a chance to practice speaking English.
为了让学习不那么枯燥，Jennifer老师还设计了一个简单有趣的小游戏。老师说一个英文单词，如果孩子们听懂了，就拍手；如果没有听懂，就安静地坐着。孩子们听到熟悉的单词时，马上开心地拍起手来。这个小游戏让孩子们在玩中练习听力，也帮助他们更好地记住刚刚学过的单词。课堂上的气氛也变得越来越活跃，孩子们都很期待老师接下来会说什么。
To make the lesson more exciting, Jennifer used a simple listening game. She said an English word, and the children had to listen carefully. If they understood the word, they clapped their hands. If they did not understand it, they stayed quiet. This game made the children pay close attention to every word the teacher said. They enjoyed the game very much and became more confident as they remembered more and more words. Learning through a simple game also made it easier for the children to remember the new vocabulary.
学会水果单词以后，老师又带着孩子们练习简单的英语句子。比如，老师教大家说“I like bananas.”孩子们先跟着老师一起读，然后再自己说出来。老师还会用中文说一些简单的意思，让孩子们尝试用英语回答。通过这样的练习，孩子们不只是记住单词，也开始学习怎么把单词放进句子里使用。虽然有些孩子一开始说得不是很熟练，但是在老师的鼓励下，他们都愿意再试一次。
After practicing the fruit words, Jennifer taught the children how to use the words in simple sentences. For example, she introduced the sentence “I like bananas.” The children repeated the sentence after her and then practiced saying it by themselves. Jennifer also said some simple sentences in Chinese, and the children tried to say the meaning in English. This activity gave the children a chance to use the new words instead of only memorizing them. Little by little, they became more comfortable speaking English in front of the class.
第二节课开始后，KHAING老师首先用一首简单的热身歌曲带着孩子们复习上周的内容。熟悉的歌曲一响起来，孩子们马上跟着老师一起唱。唱歌的同时，孩子们也在复习之前学过的英语内容。经过一段轻松的热身以后，老师开始了今天的新主题——“How’s the Weather Today?”。这一次，孩子们要学习和天气有关的英语单词，比如“sunny”（晴天）“cloudy（阴天）”和“windy”（大风天）。
The second class was also full of energy and laughter. Teacher KHAING began the lesson with a warm-up song and a short review of what the children had learned in the previous week. The song helped the children remember the old lesson while also getting them ready for the new one. After the warm-up, the teacher introduced the topic “How’s the Weather Today?” The children learned useful weather words such as “sunny,” “cloudy,” and “windy.” The teacher introduced the words one by one and gave the children enough time to listen, repeat, and practice.
在学习天气单词的时候，KHAING老师一个一个地教孩子们认识这些单词，并通过图片帮助他们理解。老师会问孩子们：“How’s the weather today?”（今天天气怎么样。？），然后给他们看不同的天气图片，让孩子们根据图片说出相应的英语单词。为了让大家记得更加清楚，老师还一个一个地提问，让每个孩子都有机会回答。孩子们认真听问题，也很积极地举手和回答，原本安静的课堂慢慢变得越来越热闹。
To help the children understand the weather words better, Teacher KHAING used pictures and simple questions. She asked, “How’s the weather today?” and showed different pictures to the children. The children looked at the pictures and tried to answer in English. The teacher also asked questions one by one, giving every child a chance to speak. The children listened carefully and answered with great interest. Some children were very confident and answered quickly, while others practiced several times before giving their answers. The important thing was that everyone was willing to participate.
最后，为了帮助孩子们更好地记住天气单词，老师又带着大家一起唱和天气有关的英语歌曲。孩子们一边唱，一边跟着老师重复“sunny”“cloudy”“windy”等单词。通过歌曲和动作，孩子们很快就进入了学习状态。大家一起唱、一起笑，也一起练习英语。两个小时的课堂就在轻松愉快的气氛中慢慢接近尾声。
To help the children further remember the weather-related vocabulary, the teacher introduced an English weather song as part of the lesson. The children sang along while repeating words such as “sunny,” “cloudy,” and “windy.” The combination of music, repetition, and simple actions created a lively classroom atmosphere and encouraged the children to participate actively.
