为传承中华优秀传统文化，深化中外文化交流，丰富外籍人才在琼文化生活，助力海南自贸港国际化环境建设，近日，海口国际人才之家外国专家书屋联合“海口Yeah”海口国际人才志愿服务团，成功举办端午传统文化主题交流活动。活动特邀新加坡国立大学符积虎教授专题授课，带领在琼外籍人才沉浸式体验端午民俗，让外籍友人近距离感受中华传统节日的独特魅力与深厚底蕴。

To carry forward China's excellent traditional culture, deepen cultural exchanges between China and other countries, enrich the cultural lives of foreign talents in Hainan, and contribute to the internationalization of the Hainan Free Trade Port, the Foreign Experts Library at Haikou International Talent Home recently collaborated with the "Haikou Yeah" International Talent Volunteer Service Team to successfully organize a cultural exchange event themed around the Dragon Boat Festival. The event featured a special lecture by Professor Fu Jihu from the National University of Singapore, who guided foreign talents in Hainan through an immersive experience of Dragon Boat Festival traditions, allowing them to closely appreciate the unique charm and profound heritage of this traditional Chinese festival.

本次活动依托外国专家书屋丰富的中外文化交流资源与志愿服务团的专业服务力量，采用“理论授课＋民俗科普＋实景体验”的多元模式，打造沉浸式、互动式传统文化交流场景，为在琼外籍人才搭建了解海南、读懂中国的优质交流平台，持续擦亮自贸港国际文化交流特色品牌。活动伊始，海南大学教授率先开展海南自贸港政策专题宣讲，面向在场外籍人才解读海南自贸港建设发展现状、对外开放政策、人才配套政策及国际化发展机遇，帮助外籍人才精准了解自贸港发展优势、在琼工作生活相关利好政策，进一步增强外籍人才扎根海南、服务自贸港建设的归属感与认同感。政策宣讲结束后，新加坡国立大学符积虎教授带来端午文化专题讲座，讲解端午历史渊源、传统由来、文化内涵、节日寓意及海南本地特色端午习俗，介绍挂艾草、佩香囊、做艾锤、龙舟祈福等传统习俗的文化意义，内容深入浅出、通俗易懂，帮助外籍人才系统、全面地理解端午节承载的家国情怀、民俗文化与传统底蕴。随后，进入民俗体验环节。在场的外籍人才亲自体验了传统艾锤制作。大家认真学习艾草整理、塑形、捆绑等步骤，动手参与、互相交流、互帮互助，在亲手制作的过程中感受传统民俗手工的匠心与温度，直观体验端午传统习俗的独特乐趣。

The event featured a special lecture by Professor Fu Jihu from the National University of Singapore, who guided foreign talents in Hainan through an immersive experience of Dragon Boat Festival traditions, allowing them to closely appreciate the unique charm and profound heritage of this traditional Chinese festival. Leveraging the extensive cultural exchange resources of the Foreign Experts Library and the professional services of the volunteer team, the event adopted a multifaceted approach combining theoretical instruction, folk culture education, and hands-on experiences, creating an immersive and interactive platform for cultural exchange. This initiative provides a high-quality forum for foreign talents in Hainan to understand the province and gain insights into China, further enhancing the distinctive brand of international cultural exchange in the Free Trade Port. At the outset of the event, professors from Hainan University delivered a specialized presentation on the policies of the Hainan Free Trade Port, explaining its current development status, opening-up policies, talent support measures, and internationalization opportunities to the attendees. This helped foreign talents gain a precise understanding of the port's developmental advantages and favorable policies for working and living in Hainan, thereby strengthening their sense of belonging and commitment to contributing to the Free Trade Port's development. Following the policy briefing session, Professor Fu Jihu from the National University of Singapore delivered a specialized lecture on Dragon Boat Festival culture, exploring its historical origins, traditional practices, cultural significance, symbolic meanings, and distinctive local customs in Hainan. He elaborated on the cultural importance of traditions such as hanging mugwort, wearing sachets, crafting mugwort hammers, and performing dragon boat rituals, presenting complex concepts in an accessible manner to help international participants gain a comprehensive understanding of the festival's embodiment of national sentiment, folk heritage, and cultural depth.

除民俗手工体验外，活动还设置了汉服体验环节。多款制式典雅、纹样精美的传统汉服亮相现场，外籍人才亲身穿戴汉服，整理妆容、感受古韵，体验中华传统服饰文化的端庄与雅致。大家身着传统汉服合影留念，沉浸式感受中式美学，直观体悟中华优秀传统文化的博大精深。参与活动的外籍人才纷纷表示，本次端午主题交流活动内容丰富、干货满满、体验感十足。通过自贸港政策解读、专家端午文化授课、亲手制作艾锤、沉浸式汉服体验等系列活动，外籍人才不仅深入了解了海南自贸港发展政策，也真切感受了中国端午传统文化和海南本土民俗的独特魅力，沉浸式体悟中华优秀传统文化的深厚底蕴。

The event then moved into a hands-on folk custom experience segment, where attendees personally learned how to make traditional mugwort hammers through guided steps including material preparation, shaping, and binding. Through collaborative participation and mutual assistance, participants experienced the craftsmanship and warmth of traditional handicrafts while immersing themselves in the unique charm of these customs. Additionally, the event featured a Hanfu costume workshop featuring elegantly designed traditional garments with intricate patterns. Participants donned authentic Hanfu attire, applied makeup, and immersed themselves in the timeless elegance of Chinese traditional clothing culture. Group photos taken in traditional Hanfu outfits further enhanced the immersive experience of Chinese aesthetics and highlighted the profound richness of China's cultural heritage. Many attendees praised the event as richly informative, highly engaging, and thoroughly experiential. Through a series of activities—including policy interpretations on the free trade port, expert lectures on Dragon Boat Festival culture, hands-on production of mugwort hammers, and immersive Hanfu experiences—foreign talents not only gained a deep understanding of Hainan Free Trade Port's development policies but also genuinely appreciated the unique charm of China's traditional Dragon Boat Festival culture and local Hainan folk customs, gaining an immersive appreciation for the profound heritage of excellent Chinese traditional culture.
