8月19日，海口国际人才之家组织 20 名在琼外籍人才前往保亭黎族苗族自治县，深度参与海南七仙温泉嬉水节系列活动。本次活动专门设立国际友人专属巡游方阵，各国英才携手走上巡游步道，沉浸式体验黎苗传统民俗，以嬉水为纽带开展中外文化交流，切实增强外籍人才的归属感。
On August 19, Haikou International Talent Home organized a two-day trip for 20 foreign talents living in Hainan to Baoting Li and Miao Autonomous County, where they took part in a series of activities celebrating the Hainan Qixian Hot Spring Water-Splashing Festival.
For the first time, a special parade group was created for international friends. Talents from different countries joined the parade together, experiencing traditional Li and Miao customs firsthand and using the water-splashing celebration as a way to connect and exchange cultures. The experience also gave foreign talents a stronger sense of belonging in Hainan.
本次活动为期两日， 19 日一早，20 名外籍人才从海口乘坐统一安排的大巴奔赴保亭。抵达目的地后，一行人办理酒店入住、短暂休整，品尝独具风味的黎苗特色午餐。午后，全体人员前往七仙文化广场更换定制巡游服饰，正式集结国际友人巡游方阵，参与 “四海同心・嬉水共欢” 主题大巡游。
Early on August 19, the group left Haikou by bus and headed to Baoting. After arriving, they checked into their hotel, took a short break, and enjoyed a local Li and Miao-style lunch. In the afternoon, the group went to Qixian Cultural Square to change into their specially designed parade outfits and officially joined the “One Heart Across the Seas, Splashing Water Together” themed parade.
巡游现场气氛热烈，由海口国际人才之家组织的外籍人才方阵成为全场亮眼队伍。大家身着特色民族服装，与本地黎苗同胞互相泼水祈福、欢乐互动，沿途观赏黎苗歌舞、传统手工艺等非遗展演，近距离感受嬉水节传承千年的民俗魅力。巡游活动结束后，主办方安排温泉特色晚餐，当晚组织全体人员参与嬉水节主题音乐会，外籍人才表演的印尼民族舞蹈节目收获在场观众的阵阵掌声，不同文化在此交融共鸣。
The atmosphere was lively throughout the event. The international friends’ parade group, organized by Haikou International Talent Home, quickly became one of the highlights of the celebration. Wearing traditional-style ethnic costumes, the participants splashed water with local Li and Miao residents, exchanged blessings, and enjoyed the festive atmosphere together. Along the parade route, they also watched Li and Miao folk songs and dances, traditional handicrafts, and other intangible cultural heritage performances, getting a close look at the long-standing traditions behind the Water-Splashing Festival. After the parade, everyone enjoyed a special hot-spring-themed dinner before attending the festival’s evening concert. An Indonesian traditional dance performed by several foreign talents received warm applause from the audience. It was a joyful moment where different cultures came together through music and dance.
参与活动的多位外籍人才表示，能够以专属巡游方阵的身份参与保亭嬉水节十分难得，泼水互动、民族歌舞等环节新奇有趣，亲身感受到海南热情包容的人文氛围，也对黎族、苗族传统文化有了更为直观、深刻的认识。大家纷纷表示，今后愿意更多参与此类交流活动，主动向海外亲友分享海南风土人情。
Several foreign participants said that being part of the special international parade was a rare and memorable experience. They found the water-splashing activities and traditional performances both exciting and refreshing, and they could truly feel the warmth and openness of Hainan. The experience also gave them a deeper and more personal understanding of Li and Miao culture. Many participants said they would be happy to take part in more cultural exchange activities in the future and share their experiences of Hainan’s culture, traditions, and way of life with their friends and families overseas.

A representative of Haikou International Talent Home said that inviting foreign talents to take part in local festivals and creating a dedicated international parade group is an important way to promote cultural exchange and provide better services for international talent. In the future, Hainan International Talent Home will continue to create more opportunities for Chinese and international communities to connect through cultural experiences, study trips, and social activities. These efforts aim to build a more open, welcoming environment for talent in the Hainan Free Trade Port, helping foreign talents feel more at home, become part of the local community, and build their lives and careers in Hainan.
