5月14日晚，首届“聚四方之才・海南自贸港人才周”国际人才足球邀请赛在海南体育职业技术学院运动场激情开赛。经过90分钟激烈友好的角逐，海口队以 6∶2战胜海口国际人才足球队。

本次赛事作为海南自贸港人才周系列活动之一，以“绿茵连四海 才聚自贸港”为主题，由中共海口市委人才发展局、海口市旅游和文化广电体育局联合主办。海口国际人才足球队集结了来自20余个国家的在琼外籍专家、高校外教、创业精英等人才代表，对阵首届琼超冠军海口队，赛事现场吸引了不少球迷到场观赛。

On the evening of May 14, the inaugural International Talent Football Invitational Tournament under the theme "Gathering Talents from All Directions – Hainan Free Trade Port Talent Week" kicked off with great enthusiasm at the sports field of Hainan Vocational College of Sports. After 90 minutes of intense and friendly competition, the Haikou team defeated the Haikou International Talent Football Team by a score of 6–2.

As part of the Hainan Free Trade Port Talent Week series, this tournament under the theme "Green Fields Connecting Four Seas, Talents Gathering at the Free Trade Port" was jointly organized by the Talent Development Bureau of the Haikou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Haikou Municipal Bureau of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports. The Haikou International Talent Football Team brought together representatives from over 20 countries—including foreign experts in Hainan, university faculty members, and entrepreneurial elites—to compete against the inaugural champion of the Qiong Super League, the Haikou team, drawing a large crowd of fans to the event.

整场比赛氛围融洽、攻防开放。上半场海口队攻势凌厉，苏萱、李天宇、林时可、张科文先后破门；海口国际人才足球队由加纳球员伊本・赛义德扳回一球，上半场比分定格4∶1。易边再战，海口队王洪廷、林时可再添进球，加纳球员汉塞尔为国际人才队再下一城，最终全场比分锁定6∶2，海口队获胜。

The entire match featured a harmonious atmosphere and open play in both attack and defense. In the first half, Haikou FC launched relentless attacks, with Su Xuan, Li Tianyu, Lin Shike, and Zhang Kewen scoring goals in succession; Ghanaian player Ibn Said scored for Haikou International Talent FC, tying the score at 4–1. After halftime, Wang Hongting and Lin Shike added more goals for Haikou, while Ghanaian player Hansel scored another goal for International Talent FC, ultimately securing a 6–2 victory for Haikou.

“海口气候宜人、环境舒适，特别适合开展足球运动，希望今后能有更多和本土球队交流切磋的机会，共享足球魅力。”来自赞比亚的球队主教练阿贝尔・雅各布・楚卢坦言，在海口生活的两年多时间里，早已深深爱上这座城市。

"Haikou boasts a pleasant climate and comfortable environment, making it particularly ideal for football development. I hope there will be more opportunities in the future to exchange experiences with local teams and share the charm of football," said Abel Jacob Chulu, head coach of the Zambia national team, adding that he had developed a deep affection for the city during his more than two years living here.

来自布隆迪的球员帕特，是中州航空飞机维修工程师，足球成为他工作之余最重要的休闲爱好。他表示，如今海口足球氛围日渐浓厚，在这里结识了大批志同道合的球友，业余生活变得格外充实。

Pat, a player from Burundi and an aircraft maintenance engineer at Zhongzhou Airlines, has made football his foremost leisure activity outside of work. He noted that the football culture in Haikou has grown increasingly vibrant, allowing him to meet many like-minded enthusiasts and making his free time particularly fulfilling.

海南医科大学在读学生拉明来自科特迪瓦，在赛场上尽情驰骋、挥洒汗水。他感慨，海口气候与家乡相近，生活踢球都十分惬意；海南自贸港对外籍人才政策友好、吸引力十足，自己十分向往扎根海口发展，未来愿为自贸港建设贡献一份力量。

赛事以足球为纽带、以体育为桥梁，充分展现海南自贸港开放包容、广纳英才的城市气质与人才生态，进一步拉近外籍人才与本土群众的距离，凝聚全球英才扎根自贸港、共建新海南的向心力与凝聚力。

Laming, a student at Hainan Medical University from Côte d 'Ivoire, competed vigorously on the field, pouring his sweat into the game. He remarked that Haikou's climate closely resembles that of his hometown, making both daily life and football playing highly enjoyable; he noted that the Hainan Free Trade Port offers favorable policies for foreign talents with strong appeal, expressing strong desire to settle in Haikou for career development and committing to contributing to the port's construction in the future.

Using football as a bond and sports as a bridge, the event fully showcases Hainan Free Trade Port's open, inclusive character and talent ecosystem that embraces outstanding individuals. It further bridges the gap between foreign professionals and local residents, fostering a sense of unity and cohesion among global talents to settle in the free trade port and jointly build a new Hainan.
