On the afternoon of December 21, 2025, as the development of the Hainan Free Trade Port continues to accelerate, a policy briefing for foreign talents was held in Haikou, aiming to enhance foreign residents’ understanding of working and living conditions in Hainan. With a pragmatic approach and a systematic perspective, the event focused on the real needs of foreign professionals and provided clear guidance for their integration into local development.
本次活动由海口市科学技术和工业信息化局（海口市外国专家局）、海口市龙华区委人才发展局联合主办，海口国际人才之家承办，吸引了来自多个国家的外籍人才参与。宣讲内容围绕外籍人士在海南工作与生活过程中普遍关注的问题展开，整体结构清晰、重点突出，现场反响积极。
This event was jointly organized by the Haikou Municipal Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry Information (Haikou Municipal Foreign Experts Bureau) and the Talent Development Bureau of the Longhua District Committee of Haikou City, and was hosted by the Haikou International Talent Home. It attracted foreign talents from multiple countries. The briefing focused on issues of common concern to foreign nationals during their work and life in Hainan, featuring a clear overall structure and well-defined key points, and received a positive on-site response.

其中，外籍人才在海口的就业与发展环境成为宣讲重点。讲解围绕就业环境、职业发展路径以及依法进入就业市场的相关条件展开，为外籍人士在海口实现长期、稳定发展提供了明确方向。在生活服务保障方面，宣讲对外籍人士可适用的医疗保险类型及办理流程进行了简要而实用的说明，涵盖城镇职工医保、城乡居民医保及学生医保等内容，同时介绍了驾驶证换领、车辆登记、子女入学及银行服务等常见事项。
Among the key topics, the employment and development environment for foreign talents in Haikou received special emphasis. The briefing focused on the local employment landscape, career development pathways, and the legal conditions for entering the job market, providing clear direction for foreign professionals seeking long-term and stable development in Haikou. Regarding living support services, the briefing offered concise and practical explanations of the medical insurance options available to foreign residents and their application procedures, including urban employee medical insurance, urban and rural resident medical insurance, and student insurance. Common matters such as driver’s license conversion, vehicle registration, school enrollment for children, and banking services were also introduced.
