新春将至，年味渐浓。1月28日下午，“椰城国际沙龙”中外友人庆新春暨志愿服务项目发布活动在海南海口温情启幕。本次活动由海口市外事办公室、海口市科工信局、海口市融媒体中心联合主办，我们积极响应，组织符积虎、曲妙然等10多位国际友人参与其中，在红色研学、民俗体验与志愿服务共识中，感受海口的城市温度与文化魅力。
As the Spring Festival approaches, the festive atmosphere grows increasingly vibrant. On the afternoon of January 28, the "Yecheng International Salon" event – featuring celebrations for the New Year by Chinese and international guests alongside the launch of a volunteer service initiative – commenced warmly in Haikou, Hainan Province. Co-organized by the Haikou Foreign Affairs Office, Haikou Science, Technology, Industry and Information Bureau, and Haikou Media Convergence Center, we actively responded by inviting over ten international participants including Fu Jihu and Qu Miaoran to engage in red-themed educational tours, folk culture experiences, and volunteer activities, thereby experiencing Haikou's urban warmth and cultural charm.
活动以沉浸式Citywalk拉开序幕，国际友人们跟随指引先后走进中共琼崖一大旧址、博爱南路年货街、中山路骑楼老街。在琼崖一大旧址，英文讲解员的生动讲解让大家深入感悟海口深厚的革命文化底蕴；年货街上，此起彼伏的吆喝声与特色商品的浓郁风情，让友人们沉浸式体验老街烟火气；骑楼老街中，南洋风格与本土文化交融的建筑风貌，让大家在聆听历史讲解中触摸城市的百年韵味。
The event kicked off with an immersive Citywalk, where international visitors followed guided tours through three iconic sites: the historic site of the First Congress of the Communist Party of China in Qiongya, the bustling New Year's Goods Street on Bo' ai South Road, and the charming arcade-style old street of Zhongshan Road. At the Congress site, English-speaking guides delivered vivid narratives that deepened visitors 'appreciation of Haikou's rich revolutionary heritage. The New Year's Goods Street buzzed with vendors' cheerful calls and the vibrant atmosphere of local specialties, immersing participants in the lively energy of the old town. Meanwhile, the arcade-style old street showcased a harmonious blend of Nanyang (Southeast Asian) architecture and local cultural elements, allowing attendees to savor the city's century-old charm through historical storytelling.
志愿服务项目发布环节备受关注。“海口Yeah”海口国际人才志愿服务团正式亮相，政务服务、文旅服务等五支专项小分队携旗登场，其涵盖的自贸港政策普法宣传、涉外政务服务协助等多项志愿服务内容，让在场国际友人倍感振奋。
The launch of the volunteer service program drew significant attention. The 'Haikou Yeah' Haikou International Talent Volunteer Service Team made its official debut, with five specialized sub-teams, including those for government services and cultural tourism services, carrying flags onto the stage. Their diverse volunteer activities, such as legal awareness campaigns on free trade port policies and assistance with foreign-related government services, greatly inspired the international guests present.
自在咖啡后院的民俗体验环节将活动推向高潮。专业琼剧演员演绎经典片段并邀请嘉宾互动学唱，海南医科大学留学生献上的琼剧选段赢得阵阵掌声。新加坡符积虎教授分享中国新春习俗与诗词，印尼留学生曲妙然与其他友人一同参与包饺子、写书法、非遗剪纸等互动体验，在动手实践中深化对中国传统文化的理解。“通过活动既能感受新春氛围，又能深入了解海口，还能为城市建设出份力，非常有意义。”曲妙然说道。
The folk experience segment in the backyard of Zizai Coffee brought the event to a climax. Professional Qiong opera performers presented classic excerpts and invited guests to interact and learn the singing, while the Qiong opera selection performed by international students from Hainan Medical University won rounds of applause. Professor Fu Jihu from Singapore shared Chinese New Year customs and poetry, and Qu Miaoran, an Indonesian international student, participated in interactive experiences such as making dumplings, calligraphy, and intangible cultural heritage paper-cutting with other friends, deepening their understanding of Chinese traditional culture through hands-on practice. "Through this activity, we can not only feel the festive atmosphere of the New Year, but also gain a deeper understanding of Haikou and contribute to urban development, which is very meaningful," said Qu Miaoran.
此次活动中，我们组织的国际友人们不仅沉浸式体验了中国新春民俗与海口城市魅力，更感受到了这座城市开放包容的姿态。大家纷纷表示，将积极传递志愿服务理念，带动更多外国朋友参与城市建设，为海口的多元文化交融与“六个之城”建设添砖加瓦。主办方表示，未来将继续搭建中外文化交流平台，凝聚国际人才合力，让更多国际友人扎根海口、共建美好家园。
During this event, international friends organized by Haikou International Talent Home not only immersed themselves in the Chinese New Year customs and the charm of Haikou city, but also felt the open and inclusive attitude of this city. Everyone expressed their willingness to actively promote the concept of volunteer service, encouraging more foreign friends to participate in urban construction, and contributing to the multicultural integration and the "Six Cities" initiative in Haikou. The organizers stated that they will continue to build platforms for cultural exchange between China and foreign countries, unite the efforts of international talents, and help more international friends settle in Haikou to jointly build a beautiful home.
