农历正月十五元宵佳节，椰城海口琼山区府城锣鼓喧天、喜气洋洋，2026年元宵换花艺术周活动达到高潮。为使在琼外籍人才深入体验海南本土传统文化，促进中外文化交流互鉴，3月3日下午，我们精心组织在琼外籍人才走进府城，深度参与非遗民俗“装马匹”巡游活动，解锁了一场充满椰岛风情的文化奇遇，让外籍朋友们在热闹的节庆氛围中触摸海南民俗的温度，感受中华传统文化的独特魅力。
On the 15th day of the first lunar month, the Lantern Festival in Haikou's Qiongshan District, known as Coconut City, was alive with the sounds of gongs and drums and the joyous atmosphere. The 2026 Lantern Festival Flower Exchange Art Week reached its peak. To help foreign talents in Hainan deeply experience the local traditional culture and promote cultural exchange, We organized a special event on the afternoon of March 3. Foreign talents from overseas visited Fucheng to participate in the intangible cultural heritage folk custom of' horse dressing 'parade, unlocking a cultural adventure full of Coconut Island charm. This allowed foreign friends to feel the warmth of Hainan's folk traditions and experience the unique charm of Chinese traditional culture amidst the festive atmosphere.
府城“装马匹”习俗是海口市第六批市级非物质文化遗产代表性项目，也是海南元宵换花节极具特色的民俗活动，距今已有百年历史，以驱邪扬善、祈福纳祥的美好寓意和热闹喜庆的巡游阵仗，成为椰岛元宵不可或缺的文化符号。活动当天，外籍人才们置身府城街巷，近距离邂逅这场传统民俗盛宴：灵动的人物造型、绚丽的花车装饰、欢快的锣鼓鼓点，搭配着寓意吉祥的民俗符号，将元宵节日的氛围感拉满。巡游队伍中，身着传统服饰的表演者化身丘浚、海瑞等琼山历史名人与七仙女等神话角色，沿府城街巷缓缓前行，上演着原汁原味的椰岛民俗风情。
The "Horse-Decorating" tradition in Fucheng, a UNESCO-listed intangible cultural heritage of Haikou City, stands as a hallmark of Hainan's Lantern Festival. This century-old custom, celebrated for its auspicious symbolism of warding off evil and welcoming blessings, has become an iconic cultural symbol of the Coconut Island. On the festival day, international visitors immersed themselves in the vibrant street parade, where dynamic folk costumes, dazzling floats, and rhythmic percussion harmonized with symbolic motifs to create a festive atmosphere. Dressed as historical figures like Qiu Jun and Hai Rui, or mythological beings such as the Seven Fairy Maidens, performers walked through the streets, authentically showcasing the island's unique folk culture.
初次体验换花节民俗的外籍人才们被这热闹的场景深深吸引，或驻足观赏，用镜头定格精彩瞬间；或跟随着巡游队伍缓步随行，感受着浓郁的节日氛围，脸上始终洋溢着兴奋与好奇。沉浸式的体验让外籍人才们对海南传统民俗有了最直观的感受，一位外籍人才难掩兴奋地表示：“这是我第一次近距离感受中国传统民俗，太震撼了！从‘装马匹’的独特造型到换花节的美好寓意，都让我对海南文化有了更鲜活的认知。”
Foreign talents experiencing the flower exchange festival for the first time were deeply captivated by the lively scene. Some stopped to admire and captured the wonderful moments with their cameras, while others followed the parade slowly, feeling the rich festive atmosphere, their faces always filled with excitement and curiosity. The immersive experience gave them the most direct impression of Hainan's traditional folk customs. One foreign talent couldn't hide his excitement, saying, "This is my first time experiencing China's traditional folk customs up close, and it's truly awe-inspiring! From the unique shape of the 'horse costume' to the beautiful symbolism of the flower exchange festival, it has given me a more vivid understanding of Hainan culture."
此次活动是我们丰富外籍人才在琼文化生活的重要举措，不仅让外籍人才走出国门、走进椰岛，沉浸式体验了海南元宵民俗的独特魅力，更以传统节庆为纽带，搭建起中外文化交流的桥梁。未来，我们将持续以海南本土文化为载体，策划开展更多形式多样、内容丰富的文化体验活动，让更多外籍人才感受自贸港的文化底蕴与城市温度，推动椰岛传统在国际视野中绽放独特光彩，让中外文化在交流互鉴中结出丰硕成果。
This event represents a significant initiative to enrich the cultural lives of foreign professionals in Hainan. It not only enabled them to step beyond national borders and immerse themselves in the unique charm of Hainan's Lantern Festival traditions, but also served as a bridge for cultural exchange between China and other countries through traditional celebrations. Moving forward, we will continue leveraging Hainan's local culture as a platform to organize diverse and content-rich cultural experience activities, allowing more foreign professionals to appreciate the cultural heritage and urban warmth of the Free Trade Port. This will help highlight Hainan's traditions with distinctive appeal on the global stage and foster fruitful outcomes from cultural interaction and mutual learning between China and other nations.
