6月22日，由市外国专家局、龙华区委人才发展局指导，海垦街道办事处、海口国际人才之家共同举办的“闪耀之星”英语公益活动在海垦街道垦家大院迎来了最后一课。该活动历经一个多月的时间、共5场，旨在通过一系列丰富多彩的英语互动游戏，激发儿童对英语的学习兴趣，培养良好的英语学习习惯，深受社区居民和孩子们的喜爱。
On June 22, the "Shining Star" English public welfare event concluded its final session at Kenjia Courtyard in Haikun Subdistrict. Organized under the guidance of the Municipal Foreign Experts Bureau and the Longhua District Committee Talent Development Bureau, and jointly hosted by the Haikun Subdistrict Office and the Haikou International Talent Home, the initiative spanned over a month with five sessions in total. Through a series of engaging English interactive games, it aimed to spark children's interest in learning English and foster good study habits, earning widespread acclaim from both community residents and participants.
活动伊始，现场播放了精心准备的一段暖心视频，回顾了孩子们在英语公益行活动开展以来的点点滴滴。期间，孩子们结合学习内容先后上台展示自己的才艺，女孩王巧若演唱的《you are my sunshine》旋律优美，让人陶醉；孩子们用中英文分别朗读诗句，让孩子们在感受中国传统文化韵味的同时，也领略到了英语表达的魅力；范雅瑄的舞蹈表演更是将现场气氛推向了高潮，赢得了在场人员的阵阵掌声。最后，外籍人才与孩子们合唱了《500 miles》《If You Are Happy》，深情的歌声让现场氛围更加温馨。新加坡籍人才Mona在谈及此次活动时说道：“通过活动，我看到了孩子们对英语学习的热情和渴望，每一次都有不同的变化，他们的进步和成长是我最大的满足。希望此次活动能够激发孩子们深入探索英语和世界的兴趣。”
At the beginning of the event, a carefully prepared heartwarming video was screened on-site, reviewing the milestones achieved by the children since the launch of the English Public Welfare Initiative. During the event, the children took turns performing their talents based on their learning content: Wang Qiaoruo delivered a captivating performance of "You Are My Sunshine" with its beautiful melody; the children recited poetic verses in both Chinese and English, allowing them to appreciate the charm of English expression while immersing themselves in the essence of China's traditional culture; Fan Yaxuan's dance performance brought the atmosphere to a climax, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience. Finally, foreign talents performed duets of "500 Miles" and "If You Are Happy," their heartfelt vocals further warming the venue. Singaporean artist Mona reflected on the event, saying, "Through this initiative, I witnessed the children's passion and desire for learning English—each moment brought new progress, and their growth is my greatest satisfaction. I hope this event will inspire the children to delve deeper into exploring English and the world."
