On June 9, the Hainan Enterprise Federation and Hainan Entrepreneurs Association invited multiple guests who have deep expertise in overseas economic and trade, talent services, and organic certification to discuss new ideas for cross-border cooperation and explore new opportunities for mutually beneficial development.
Ran Huimin, Chairman of the Standing Council of the European Federation of Chinese Associations and President of the Association of Chinese Sentiments in France; Yang Chengdong, Executive Director of the International Business Center of Sanya Chamber of Commerce and General Manager of Sanya Enderson Investment Co., Ltd.; and Pi Jinyu, Head of Haikou International Talent Home, were invited to attend. Cold Mingquan, Standing Chairman and Secretary-General of Hainan Enterprise Federation, Administrative Assistant Cao Yingjun, and Huang Yan, Director of the Department of Exchange and Cooperation and Liaison Officer of the International Cooperation and Exchange Committee, participated in the discussion.
Ran Huimin, with extensive experience in economic and trade and overseas Chinese affairs in Europe, America, and Southeast Asia, holds positions such as Chairman of French REN International Trading Company and Director of the French Women's Wine Association. She suggested that Hainan enterprises could learn from the century-old business inheritance concepts of European and American enterprises, seize the demographic dividend and market opportunities in Southeast Asia, and promote the overseas development of Hainan's characteristic industries such as catering and tourism. At the same time, she proposed introducing high-quality French industries such as perfumes, essential oils, wines, and health care into Hainan through her own resources.
Yang Chengdong, combining international business practice and years of experience in organic certification services, proposed introducing characteristic agricultural products such as bird's nest and durian from Southeast Asia into Hainan. By enhancing product quality through professional organic certification and leveraging Hainan's processing advantages to reduce comprehensive costs, a differentiated cross-border trade track could be created.
Pi Jinyu detailed the service model and achievements of Haikou International Talent Home and shared existing international talent cooperation cases such as the operation of Norwegian enterprises in Hainan and Indonesian student exchanges at Hainan University. He stated that they would fully link high-level foreign talents at home and abroad for Hainan enterprises to solidify the international talent support for the Free Trade Port.
Huang Yan, around the annual international cooperation and exchange plan of Hainan Enterprise Federation, proposed focusing on expanding overseas markets such as Russia, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Europe, conducting solid market research, and achieving demand-based对接 and precise services. Cao Yingjun suggested finely classifying foreign experts and technical and management talents to match different enterprise developments and maximize the value of international talents.
After sufficient exchanges, the participants reached multiple consensus on cooperation and determined to carry out in-depth collaboration in areas such as economic and trade对接 in the Free Trade Port, international talent exchange, cultural and tourism cooperation, overseas Chinese resource linkage, and joint brand building, to promote the implementation and effectiveness of cooperation projects.
Cold Mingquan expressed his expectations for joint efforts to deepen cooperation. He emphasized that Hainan Enterprise Federation would fully promote the implementation of all cooperation, introduce overseas high-level talents to empower the development of state-owned and private enterprises in Hainan, help local enterprises improve quality and efficiency; spread excellent traditional Chinese culture to the world and tell the story of Hainan Free Trade Port through overseas Chinese associations and cooperation platforms. He proposed focusing on cooperation projects, refining implementation plans, and promoting in-depth international exchanges and cooperation.
This round of discussion further broadened Hainan Enterprise Federation's international cooperation 'circle of friends', clarified the direction and focus of cross-border service work. In the future, Hainan Enterprise Federation will continue to play a bridging role, continuously link global quality resources, guide Hainan enterprises to actively participate in international market competition and cooperation, and assist Hainan in accelerating the construction of a China-characteristic Free Trade Port with world influence through high-level international exchanges.
