To leverage the advantages of international talent resources and establish a public welfare exchange platform through sports as a bridge to support the development of youth football in Qiongzhong， the Haikou International Talent Community recently organized the Haikou International Talent Football Team to visit Qiongzhong and conduct a ＂Education ＋ Football＂ public welfare exchange activity， providing the youth men＇s football team in Qiongzhong with an engaging and fun interactive football session。
This event represents another innovative initiative by the Haikou International Talent Community and the ＂Haikou Yeah＂ International Talent Volunteer Service Team. The Haikou International Talent Football Team brings together foreign experts and industry professionals working and living in Hainan； the players traveled to Qiongzhong with great enthusiasm， integrating football， engaging activities， and cross－cultural exchange into a single experience. By moving beyond mere skill－based instruction，the program enables children to experience the joy of playing on the pitch and broaden their horizons in a relaxed atmosphere。
During the class，members of the Haikou International Talent Football Team stepped into the role of volunteer mentors. Tailored to the cognitive characteristics of young people， they used engaging guidance， group interactions， and game－based activities to lead the children in experiencing the appeal of football. Together， they warmed up， interacted， and engaged in friendly competition， while laughter filled the venue. The children participated enthusiastically and expressed themselves boldly； through running and teamwork， they experienced the sporting spirit of unity and perseverance， and through face－to－face exchanges， they felt the warmth of multiculturalism. On the green pitch， there are no distances； football has become a friendly bond connecting international talent with the youth of Qiongzhong。
Following the training and exchange session， at 18:00 that evening， the Qiongzhong U18 Men＇s Football Team and the Haikou International Talent Football Team held a 90－minute friendly match， which allowed unlimited substitutions. The focus was not on the score but on mutual exchange； players from both teams coordinated their movements， supported one another， and exchanged skills. As they traded passes and cheered for each other on the field， the players on the sidelines cheered enthusiastically， fully enjoying the joy of football. This friendly match further brought the two teams closer together and continued to foster a vibrant atmosphere of sports exchange。
A representative from the Haikou International Talent Community stated that Qiongzhong is a hub for football in Hainan and boasts a strong atmosphere for youth football. Using football as a medium and public welfare as a bridge， the event serves two purposes： on the one hand， it provides international talent with channels to participate in grassroots public welfare activities and integrate into local Hainan communities， thereby enriching the spiritual and cultural lives of those residing in Qiongzhong； on the other hand， it brings international talent resources down to the county level， creating a window for rural youth to engage in external exchanges and helping to enhance their overall competencies。
Moving forward, the Haikou International Talent Community will continue to leverage the distinctive strengths of the "Haikou Yeah" International Talent Volunteer Service Team and the Haikou International Talent Football Team; consistently organize diversified public welfare exchange activities in sports, culture, science popularization, and other fields; continuously innovate the forms of these exchanges; make effective use of talent resources; effectively share the stories of the Free Trade Port's friendly relations; and continue fostering an international talent development ecosystem that attracts both local and overseas talent, thereby supporting the Free Trade Port of Hainan's external cultural and people-to-people exchanges.
