近日，由海口市外国专家局、龙华区委人才发展局指导，海垦街道办事处、海口龙华人才之家（海口国际人才之家）共同举办的“闪耀之星”英语公益活动在海垦街道垦家大院落幕。此次活动累计举办5场，深受社区居民和孩子们的喜爱。

Recently, the "Shining Star" English public welfare event concluded at Kenjia Courtyard in Haiken Subdistrict. The event was jointly organized by the Haikou Municipal Bureau of Foreign Experts and the Longhua District Committee Talent Development Bureau, with support from the Haiken Subdistrict Office and the Haikou Longhua Talent Home (Haikou International Talent Home). A total of five sessions were held during the campaign, which were highly popular among community residents and children.

在最后一节课堂上，主办方播放了一段暖心视频，回顾孩子们在英语公益行活动开展以来的点点滴滴。随后教师和孩子们纷纷上场展示了自己的才艺，还有外籍人才与孩子们合唱歌曲，深情的歌声让现场氛围更加温馨。

此次活动旨在通过一系列丰富多彩的英语互动游戏，激发儿童对英语的学习兴趣，培养良好的英语学习习惯。“通过活动，我看到了孩子们对英语学习的热情和渴望，他们的进步和成长是我最大的满足，希望活动能够激发孩子们探索英语和世界的兴趣。”新加坡籍人才Mona说道。

During the final class session, the organizers screened a heartwarming video showcasing the children's milestones since the launch of the English charity initiative. Subsequently, teachers and students took the stage to display their talents, while foreign artists performed songs in harmony with the children—their heartfelt performances further enhanced the warm atmosphere of the event.

This event aims to spark children's interest in learning English and cultivate good English study habits through a series of engaging interactive games. "Through this activity, I witnessed the children's enthusiasm and passion for learning English; their progress and growth are my greatest satisfaction. I hope it will inspire them to explore both English and the world," said Mona, a Singaporean professional.
