海口组建国际人才志愿服务团 助力自贸港建设

　　中新网海南新闻8月26日电(记者 王子谦) 海口国际人才志愿服务团25日组建，首批来自15个国家的20余位外籍人才、国际友人将积极参与当地的社会公益事业。

　　海口国际人才志愿服务团由海口市科学技术和工业信息化局(海口市外国专家局)、海口市科学技术协会组建。海口市科学技术和工业信息化局(海口市外国专家局)调研员陈兰芳表示，海南自贸港是中国对外开放的重要窗口，国际人才志愿服务团将为外籍人才志愿者提供发挥专业特长和独特优势的平台，为当地公益事业贡献力量。

　　海口国际人才志愿服务团负责人皮进宇说，该组织志愿者可提供小语种政务窗口帮办服务、涉外民事调解、支教义诊、环保宣传、儿童教育等服务，“志愿服务将给本地区带来多元化的视角和支持，促进国际文化的深度融合，增强他们对海口的归属感和认同感。”

来自新加坡的Mona报名参加海口国际人才志愿服务团，她希望提供儿童英语教育的志愿服务，“社区儿童对英语学习有很大兴趣，希望发挥我们的作用，让志愿服务的种子开花结果。”(完)

The Haikou International Talent Volunteer Service Team was established by the Haikou Municipal Bureau of Science, Technology and Industrial Information (Haikou Municipal Bureau of Foreign Experts) and the Haikou Municipal Association for Science and Technology. Chen Lanfang, a researcher at the Haikou Municipal Bureau of Science, Technology and Industrial Information (Haikou Municipal Bureau of Foreign Experts), stated that the Hainan Free Trade Port serves as a crucial window for China's opening-up to the world. The international talent volunteer service team will provide foreign talent volunteers with a platform to leverage their professional expertise and unique advantages, contributing to local public welfare initiatives.

Pi Jinyu, head of the Haikou International Talent Volunteer Service Team, stated that its volunteers provide services such as administrative assistance at language service counters for less commonly taught languages, foreign-related civil mediation, teaching and medical outreach, environmental awareness campaigns, and children's education. "Volunteer services will bring diverse perspectives and support to the region, foster deeper integration of international cultures, and strengthen people's sense of belonging and identity with Haikou," he said. Mona from Singapore signed up for the team, hoping to volunteer in children's English education. "Community children show great interest in learning English; I want to play my part and help make this volunteer initiative bear fruit," she added. (End)
