8月21日，海口国际人才志愿者团队走进乐东，来到乐东思源实验小学，为当地的孩子们带来了一场充满活力与温暖的英语公益课堂。
On August 21, the Haikou International Talent Volunteer Team traveled to Ledong and visited Ledong Siyuan Experimental Primary School, where they brought a lively and warm English community class to the local children.
这一次的乐东之行，不仅是一次英语教学活动，也是一次轻松愉快的交流与陪伴。志愿者老师们希望通过简单、有趣的英语课堂，让孩子们在学习英语的同时，有更多开口说英语、与老师和同学交流的机会，也让他们感受到来自不同文化的交流与友谊。
This trip to Ledong was not only an English teaching activity, but also a meaningful opportunity for communication and companionship. Through simple and enjoyable English lessons, the volunteer teachers hoped to give the children more opportunities to speak English, communicate with their teachers and classmates, and experience friendship and cultural exchange.
为了让课堂更加适合不同年龄段孩子的学习情况，志愿者老师根据学生的年级和英语学习水平，将孩子们分为三个班，分别是三年级、四年级和五年级。每个班由两位志愿者老师共同负责教学。课堂开始后，老师们很快和孩子们熟悉起来，从一个简单的问候开始，慢慢带着大家进入英语学习的状态。
To make the lessons more suitable for children of different ages and learning levels, the students were divided into three groups according to their grades: Grade 3, Grade 4, and Grade 5. Each class was taught by two volunteer teachers. At the beginning of the lessons, the teachers quickly became familiar with the children and gradually helped them get into the rhythm of learning English, starting with simple greetings.
在课堂上，老师们准备了丰富的教学内容，通过图片、简单的文字以及PPT，把原本比较陌生的英语单词和句子变得更加直观、容易理解。孩子们学习了“My name is…”等简单的自我介绍表达，并在老师的带领下进行练习。
During the lessons, the teachers prepared a variety of learning materials, including pictures, simple texts, and PowerPoint slides. These materials helped make unfamiliar English words and sentences easier and more interesting to understand. The children learned simple expressions such as “My name is…” and practiced speaking under the guidance of their teachers.
这次活动没有让孩子们只是坐在座位上听老师讲课。老师们不断鼓励孩子们主动开口，通过师生互动和同伴练习，让每一个孩子都有机会说英语。有些孩子一开始比较害羞，不太敢开口，老师们就耐心地鼓励他们，一遍一遍地带着他们练习。当孩子们终于勇敢地说出完整的英语句子时，课堂上总会响起掌声和鼓励声。
This activity encouraged the children to take an active part in the lessons. Through teacher-student interaction and pair or group practice, every child had opportunities to speak English. Some children were shy and hesitant to speak at first, so the teachers patiently encouraged them and practiced with them again and again. Whenever a child successfully said a complete English sentence, the classroom was filled with applause and encouragement.
对于学习过程中遇到困难的孩子，志愿者老师也给予了特别的关注。老师们会放慢速度，用更加简单的方式进行解释，并耐心地重复单词和句子，帮助孩子们理解和记忆。虽然只是简单的几个单词、几句话，但对孩子们来说，每一次敢于开口、每一次成功表达，都是一次小小的进步。
The volunteer teachers also paid special attention to children who had difficulties during the lessons. They slowed down their teaching, explained things in simpler ways, and patiently repeated words and sentences to help the children understand and remember them. Although the children were learning only a few simple words and sentences, every time they spoke English bravely and successfully expressed themselves, it was an important little step forward.
为了让英语学习不再只是“记单词、背句子”，老师们还把英语歌曲和动作融入课堂。孩子们跟着老师一起唱歌、做动作，在轻松的节奏中学习“Clap”“Stomp ”“Jump”等简单的英语词汇。音乐让课堂变得更加活跃，动作也帮助孩子们更好地理解单词的意思。
To make English learning more than simply memorizing words and sentences, the teachers also included English songs and movements in the lessons. The children sang along with the teachers and followed the movements while learning simple vocabulary such as “Clap,” “Stomp ,” and “Jump.” Music made the classroom more lively, while the movements helped the children understand the meanings of the words more easily.
当熟悉的旋律响起时，孩子们很快就加入进来。有的孩子大声跟着老师唱，有的孩子一边唱一边做动作，还有的孩子看到同学们一起参与，也慢慢放开自己。教室里充满了歌声和笑声，英语学习也变成了一件轻松而有趣的事情。
When the familiar music began, the children quickly joined in. Some sang loudly with the teachers, some sang while doing the movements, and others gradually became more comfortable after seeing their classmates participate. The classroom was soon filled with singing and laughter, making English learning feel relaxed and enjoyable.
除了歌曲，互动游戏也是这次课堂中孩子们非常喜欢的环节。老师们把孩子们分成小组，通过简单的英语游戏帮助他们复习课堂上学过的单词和句子。孩子们在游戏中不断重复、练习，不知不觉中加深了对英语知识的记忆。
In addition to songs, interactive games were another activity that the children particularly enjoyed. The teachers divided the children into small groups and used simple English games to help them review the words and sentences they had learned. Through the games, the children repeatedly practiced the language without feeling bored.
从最开始的有些害羞和拘谨，到后来积极举手、主动回答问题，再到一起唱歌、玩游戏，孩子们一点一点变得更加自信。老师们也从孩子们的笑脸中感受到了这次公益课堂的意义。
From being shy and quiet at the beginning to raising their hands, answering questions, singing songs, and playing games together, the children gradually became more confident. The teachers could also feel the meaning of the activity through the children’s happy smiles.
课程最后，老师们还特别表扬了两位在课堂上表现优秀、积极参与活动的同学，并为他们颁发了小奖品。拿到奖品的孩子脸上露出了开心的笑容，这份鼓励也让其他同学更加愿意积极参与课堂活动，勇敢地开口说英语。
At the end of the class, two students who showed outstanding performance and active participation during the lessons were recognized and presented with small awards. The moment brought big smiles to their faces and also encouraged the other students to participate more actively and confidently in the classroom.
随后，志愿者老师们为每位同学颁发了课堂结业证书，作为这段学习时光的一份特别纪念。当证书一张张发到孩子们手中时，教室里充满了笑容和温暖。伴随着证书颁发和最后的合影，本次英语公益课堂也圆满结束。
After that, the volunteer teachers presented certificates to the students as a special keepsake of their time together. With the certificates handed out and warm smiles all around, the English Community Class officially came to an end.
