8月21日，东方市顺利举办“外才智汇，点亮东方”外籍人才智汇行活动。活动由东方市委人才发展局主办，东方国际人才之家、海口国际人才之家联合承办。来自加拿大、新加坡、巴基斯坦等10余个国家的30余名外籍人才齐聚东方，在鳄鱼小镇品特色产业、在黎锦基地赏非遗技艺、在明阳科技新能源有限公司了解东方临港产业园的发展，深度参与了一场跨越文化与产业的体验。

活动中，外籍人才代表团首站走进鳄鱼小镇，实地探访东方市鳄鱼特色养殖与深加工产业。大家详细了解东方市鳄鱼产业链发展的历程，不时就产业规模化、出口贸易、品牌化发展等话题与企业负责人交流探讨，并当即表达出合作的意向。来自斯洛伐克的创业者JAN很兴奋地表示，“东方鳄鱼小镇的鳄鱼制品品质和创意很好，如果能出口到欧洲一定会很有市场，我下一步要考虑计划往这方面发展。”

On August 21, Dongfang City successfully hosted the "Talent Exchange: Igniting Dongfang" event for foreign professionals. Organized by the Talent Development Bureau of the Dongfang Municipal Committee and jointly undertaken by the Dongfang International Talent Home and the Haikou International Talent Home, the event brought together over 30 international talents from more than 10 countries including Canada, Singapore, and Pakistan. Participants explored local specialty industries in Crocodile Town, witnessed intangible cultural heritage crafts at the Li Brocade production base, and learned about the development of the Dongfang Port Industrial Park at Mingyang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., engaging deeply in a cross-cultural and cross-industry experience.

During the event, the delegation of foreign experts first visited Crocodile Town to explore Dongfang City's distinctive crocodile farming and deep-processing industry. They gained a detailed understanding of the development journey of Dongfang's crocodile industry chain, engaged in discussions with company representatives on topics such as industrial scaling, export trade, and brand building, and immediately expressed interest in collaboration. Jan, an entrepreneur from Slovakia, said excitedly, "The quality and creativity of crocodile products at Dongfang Crocodile Town are excellent; if exported to Europe, they would certainly find strong market demand. My next step is to consider developing my business in this direction."

随后，代表团来到东方织娘黎锦馆，沉浸式感受国家级非物质文化遗产——黎锦技艺的独特魅力。在温暖的灯光下，黎锦馆内传来了阵阵清脆悦耳的织机声，仿佛在诉说着古老技艺的悠久历史。非遗传承人热情洋溢地现场演示了传承千年的黎锦织造技艺，每一个动作都娴熟而精准，令人叹为观止。外籍嘉宾们被这精湛的技艺深深吸引，纷纷跃跃欲试，触摸千年棉麻交织的纹理，并换上各种色彩的黎锦服饰进行亲身体验。他们站在镜头前，摆出各种pose，瞬间化身为“国际模特”，兴致盎然地拍摄起了短视频，记录下这段难忘的文化体验。整个基地洋溢着欢声笑语，文化的交流与碰撞在这里绽放出独特的光彩。

Subsequently, the delegation visited the Oriental Weaving Women Li Brocade Museum, immersing themselves in the unique charm of this national intangible cultural heritage—the art of Li brocade weaving. Under the warm lighting, the crisp sounds of looms echoed throughout the museum, as if narrating the long history of this ancient craft. The inheritor of the intangible heritage enthusiastically demonstrated the millennia-old Li brocade weaving technique on-site; every movement was masterful and precise, leaving visitors in awe. The foreign guests were deeply captivated by the exquisite skill, eager to try their hand at handling the centuries-old cotton-linen textures and donning Li brocade garments in vibrant colors for hands-on experiences. Standing before cameras, they posed effortlessly as "international models," enthusiastically filming short videos to document this unforgettable cultural encounter. The entire venue buzzed with laughter and joy, where cultural exchange and interaction radiated a distinctive brilliance.
